Reports to: Fundraising Coordinator
Office: ANP|WWF’s office, Lisbon
Type of Contract: Staff (100%)
Duration: 12 months
Objective of the Position:
The Portuguese environmental NGO ANP, in association with the global conservation organization WWF (ANP|WWF) aims to develop its individual fundraising program raising donations from individuals and thus increasing its impact in the Portuguese society and its investment capacity in conservation projects in Portugal as well in the improvement of its organizational performance.

The main responsibility of this manager will be the implementation of this individual fundraising program, in particular by boosting digital fundraising in order to maximize the impact and exploit the potential of digital channels to support the Fundraising & Communications Department in increasing the number of donors and supporters and build a strong identity and brand awareness of ANP|WWF; this manager will also develop the strategic connection with other sources of individual fundraising such as Face to Face and Telemarketing.
Main functions:
- Plans, implements and manages the individual fundraising stream of ANP.
- Develops and implements a digital marketing strategy& fundraising (or client acquisition) to meet the fundraising needs of ANP|WWF.
- Sets up and runs digital marketing& fundraising (or client acquisition) campaigns from concept to execution in order to ensure donor/supporters acquisition, conversion, engagement and reactivation.
- Identifies growth opportunities for digital channels building skills and experience.
- Creates or commissions marketing content including writing persuasive texts, selecting appropriate images or developing original content. Uses marketing automation tools to identify development opportunities through technology.
- Identifies objectives, KPIs, messages and audiences and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the coherent and effective implementation of these campaigns.  
- Monitors and reports the performance of digital& fundraising (or client acquisition) marketing tools, channels and campaigns and assesses against KPIs.
- Proposes new tools, campaigns and digital activities.
- Coordinates the ‘Face to Face’ strategy and the connection with external suppliers.
- Coordinates the ‘Telemarketing’ strategy and the connection with external suppliers.
- Coordinates the implementation of the technical tools associated and links with external provider (CRM, others)
- Supports the raising of other funds to co-finance this area, namely identification of calls for the submission of proposals and development of content for them.
- Updates the donation page of ANP website – developing new contents and ideas and adaptation of the existing ones.

Main Skills:
·        Degree in Communications, Social or Psychological Sciences or Marketing or another compatible with the function.
·        Minimum 5 years of experience in raising individual donations , in particular in developing digital marketing strategies and campaigns in large organizations (charity sector preferred) to acquire new online donors and build awareness.
·        Fundraising and sales mindset and excellent skills;
·        Substantial experience of managing paid digital marketing media channels and experience in team management and CRM (salesforce); 
·        Understanding of digital marketing & fundraising (or client acquisition) KPIs and an ability to use data to drive decision making;
·        Ability to handle multiple projects/campaigns, drive for results, and meet tight deadlines.
·        Understanding of the current General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Privacy legislation.
·        Experience in managing vendor relationships and maximizing productivity of vendors and consultants.
·        Experience in training other staff
·        Fluency in Portuguese and English both oral and written.
Soft Skills
·        Excellent digital copy writing skills
·        Video and audio editing skills to support content development
·        Able to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital tactics and strategies. 
·        Experience in Drupal background, Web Analytics, basic HTML/CSS and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere

Working Relations:
- Reports to the Fundraising Director 
- Works closely with the Communication and Campaigns department.
- Articulates with the other departments of ANP|WWF and with the Executive Director
- Works directly with GDC of WWF Int. 
  • Full-time schedule - 35 hours per week.
  • Possibility of one to two days of teleworking per week, exemption from birthday, December 24th and 31st, according to the organization's human resources policy.
